I've tried different brands of contacts and find that the B&L Soflens 38 work best for me. I've been using the B&L Soflens 38 for about 20 years, at which time it was known as Sequence II. Many other brands, even those claiming to have a higher water content than the B&Ls, dry my eyes out after a few hours of wear. The B&Ls are tinted slightly, so they are easy to locate if you happen to drop one in the sink. I wear them for 12-16 hours a day, during which time they remain comfortable. These are 2 week disposables, but I've gone 6 or more weeks on the same pair. For the first 2-4 weeks, vision is perfect, but after that, vision starts to slowly deteriorate, which means it's time to replace the old lenses with a fresh pair. These contacts are very thin and flexible, which makes them comfortable, but they dry quickly when removed from storage case with saline solution, so you need to go from case to your eye fairly quickly. I recall I used to tear the lenses from mishandling, but after some practice you get used to handling them. I highly recommend the B&L Soflens 38.

I bought the Softlens 38 on advice of my eye doctor, because I was curious about different brands. 3 out of 6 lenses folded together on themselves on removal, and stuck together. I'm an experienced lens wearer and have NEVER had a lens tear or stick together in 22 years. No amount of soaking would "unstick" them, and the lenses tore if I tried to peel them apart. That's money down the drain, as far as I'm concerned, because there is no way to get a refund on the torn lenses. I'm going to back to my old brand, as I've never had issues with any of their lenses.

Comments about SofLens 38 (Optima FW):

There is somethimg I specially don't like about these contacts. It is they are sticky therefore difficult to handle. When I say they are sticky I mean the stick to each other very easily when you take them off your eye, and you have to open/separate the contact before putting it back in the box with solution.
Weird, never happened with other contacts.

Comments about SofLens 38 (Optima FW):

I should've read all the reviews before buying. I've been using contacts for many years, and when finances became very tight, I looked for a bargain price. The first lens I opened appeared to have disappeared out of the pack. It took me a while (with my glasses on) to find it stuck to the corner of the container. It was very very difficult to put in, and kept folding on contact with my cornea. After a solid 10 minutes trying again and again to straighten out the folded lens, I finally had it in place and it was very comfortable all day. Then the same problem occurred when taking it out. My eye is irritated from all the activity, though not from the lens itself. I've wasted all this money and I could've had one month supply of a better brand.

Do not buy these contacts, unless you are broke and really need contacts. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years daily. I hate wearing glasses at work, I sweat too much (I am a cook) and have to push my glasses up all day. Very annoying. Anyway these are the worst contacts I've had the pleasure of buying. Yeah they work in a pinch but I suggest saving more money to get a better ones. They are too flimsy and fold up easily. I noticed they didn't look right on your finger and are a little difficult to put in. I have had them two weeks now and every time I take them out they fold. Sometime twice over into quarters. Then I have to peel them apart because they stick together really well. The comfort is low grade and get pretty uncomfortable around 6 hours of wear.

All in all, a cheap product for a cheap price. Won't be buying again.
