I've tried different brands of contacts and find that the B&L Soflens 38 work best for me. I've been using the B&L Soflens 38 for about 20 years, at which time it was known as Sequence II. Many other brands, even those claiming to have a higher water content than the B&Ls, dry my eyes out after a few hours of wear. The B&Ls are tinted slightly, so they are easy to locate if you happen to drop one in the sink. I wear them for 12-16 hours a day, during which time they remain comfortable. These are 2 week disposables, but I've gone 6 or more weeks on the same pair. For the first 2-4 weeks, vision is perfect, but after that, vision starts to slowly deteriorate, which means it's time to replace the old lenses with a fresh pair. These contacts are very thin and flexible, which makes them comfortable, but they dry quickly when removed from storage case with saline solution, so you need to go from case to your eye fairly quickly. I recall I used to tear the lenses from mishandling, but after some practice you get used to handling them. I highly recommend the B&L Soflens 38.

I bought the Softlens 38 on advice of my eye doctor, because I was curious about different brands. 3 out of 6 lenses folded together on themselves on removal, and stuck together. I'm an experienced lens wearer and have NEVER had a lens tear or stick together in 22 years. No amount of soaking would "unstick" them, and the lenses tore if I tried to peel them apart. That's money down the drain, as far as I'm concerned, because there is no way to get a refund on the torn lenses. I'm going to back to my old brand, as I've never had issues with any of their lenses.

Unfortunately, will not purchase this brand again as it did not provide the vision required. Should have guessed there would be issues due to the double thickness of the lens.

Comments about SofLens 38 (Optima FW):

Read a couple reviews prior to my purchase, came across one that said "lenses stick together and it's hard to tear them apart". Didn't really believe that (nor understood, because for 10+ years of wearing contacts never have I ever come by anything like that).
Well, I was wrong. They do stick together. Not only that, but I could also feel them in my eyes. What's more, when I take them off, they fold and that's when they stick together. It does take a lot of careful effort to separate them. Unfortunately, I have already broke 2 out of 6 pairs doing that.
      Definitely would not recommend.

      Not impressed at all

Comments about SofLens 38 (Optima FW):

The lenses fold in on themselves too easily and once they lense comes into contact with itself, they're incredibly difficult to seperate; I lost a lense to this the first night I tried to put it in its case.
Getting the lenses out of the case has also proven difficult as it sticks to the bottom on the well.
Once in the eye, the product doesn't conform to the shape of the eye and I have had to hold open my lids to "straighten" out the lense, which is difficult and iritates the eye.
The lenses also make the eyes dry and the overall wear is uncomfortable, irritating and unpleasent. Unfortunately I won't be purchasing this product again.

I've used this particular brand for many years and find the lenses comfortable and generally have no problems.

I use other contacts my eyes feel pain and tired. Because they are all too hard. And too thick. Not good for eyes. Soft lens are best

These truly suck. They're some generic brand where the lenses go super dry really quickly which makes it so uncomfortable when you blink. My eyes would get irritated and it felt like I had a piece of sharp plastic in my eyes. I did the mistake of ordering 6 boxes so I was obligated to wear these for an extended period of time. Will never buy these contacts EVER again. You are compromising quality with the low price. Save yourself some drama and buy better lenses which are a bit more pricier. It's worth the investment.
